Goodbye 2009 Hello 2010

Well, this video is good enough to reminiscence us what we have done through the year 2009. Be it a happy or sad moment as far as I'm concerned.

It's so hard to believe that another year is going to pass which means a year older for everyone. Getting older is not a bad thing as it merely implicit the growing maturity of a person but so long as they don't turn senile, then the statement should hold.

Mr. Shock, if you're ready this, don't be put off by this because although you're seasoned in age but you're still young in your heart! Next time I bring you go jungle trekking at Melati Hill so you would reminiscence back your youthful glory years.

Christmas Dinner@ Rakuzen

On Christmas night, me and my peers settled down at Chulan Square's Razuken for our lovely Christmas reunion ,that is only subsequent to several let-down at nearby restaurant which serve no ala carte but buffet instead on that night.

Rakuzen has been my most frequent place for Japanese food ,however the choice is not towards its food but more towards its ambience. As envisaged, the place is decorated so as to set the Christmas mood running in every patrons that visit the place.

We all ordered different set of meals and savoured to the last bit of everything.

Oh yeah, I need to announce something. I have just found my blog the ambassador who will endorse most of my food entry in the future.

I present to you Mr.Ja ( not Yan Ja punya Ja ).Having a good looks like his has advantage above everything but will be taken advantage by this desperate moderator here as Mr.Ja is useful since he can turn an already bland looking foods into more appealing than they already was. Having him posing beside foods is like having chicks posing beside cars. With him around, the food looks much tastier. So you won't be seeing the last of him here yet.

As the night turns younger, we heads over to Lecka-Lecka located in front of Starhill to grab ourself a comfortable seat so we could celebrate our Christmas moment in a more civilised matured manner compared to kampung boys who sprayed foam at friends or stranger and later on litters empty spray cans onto the street as if its their grandfathers road.

But before we could secure a place to sit, a hen fight ensued at the entrance. I have no idea what they are quarreling about but the girl on the left do exhibit somelike tai ka jie (BIG SISTER)attitude. Probably the feud started over for a boy la...anyway,nowadays what girl knows other than fighting over for a guy right?

An outright self-incriminating confession.

Merry Christmas

Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year as Andy Williams sings. Be it the young or the old would come out from their little house and celebrate the colourful festive season together . Whenever Christmas comes, everywhere is painted with attractive lights bulbs and decoration took up every corner. Colours like golden, red and green dominate the entire festive season thereby built up a jolly mood for all to enjoy. Most importantly , build a smile on every face.

Everyone anticipate Christmas to arrive because it's the time of the year where you don't need a valid reason to receive gift from your friends and family as its father Christmas decree that everyone should be happy and enjoy the time with their love ones hence everyone is entitle to a present! Present makes people happy.

I always fond Christmas as the Jingle Bells tunes we hear since we're small never fails to entertain me whenever I am moody and it has the magical power to get my lazy body warmed up. It always makes me start rocking my hip and twisting my feet and start hoping along with the song. Musical can really set you into the mood.

During Christmas, beside the fun loving song, I also love the fact Christmas tree is everywhere during this season. You get to see many cute trinklets hanging by the tree. I like the most is the glittering balls and miniature toys used to decorate the trees. The fusion of colours wrapped around the Christmas tree is simply mesmerising.

I think what makes everyone love Christmas so much is the fact that the whole Christmas atmosphere is filled with glitters. You will see glitters on your left and glitters on your right. At the top and at the bottom and it's this glitters that makes Christmas so special. The glitters you witness around in Christmas actually meant to signify happiness and hopes. It's oblivious to the naked eye but do you know that the glitters actually have the effect of making people jumping upside down in joy?

The glitters basically emulates the natural effect of a star in the sky as star has always been the notion to create hypnotize effect. It is evident since it capable of making us to preach towards the star as if they bears the answer to our prayer. So as you know, the rational behind this inexplicable is due to the star's unmatchable beauty has cause human to accept the idea that star is actually light send down from heaven. Only God can exhibit such astonish glow from heaven so as they claim.

This reason is why star has always been the essential ingredient in Christmas and to follow by the book, it must sits gracefully on top of Christmas tree because it assume the height of heaven above us. Therefore, the star is the lifeline of Christmas. If ever the star fails to glow, the atmoshpere will abruptly turns gloomy . This is how Christmas star is pivotal to Christmas. If no star, means no hope,no happiness.

Anyway, do you realise that most kids would standstill in front of Christmas tree feeling astound by the Christmas star ? The mysterious glow is capable of attracting kids attention. The younger the kid are, the more astound they are by the star.

So do you still feel astounded by the Christmas star? If you do , then my friend you're just like me. We still hold the puerility in our soul and refuse to grow up.

So are you in Christmas spirit already? Well I am! I want to wish a Merry Christmas and a Happy Holiday to all my faithful readers for your continuing support.

Goodyear Formula Drift Part 1

Initially I plan to head down to PWTC as planned but instead hopped over to UPM MAEPS at Serdang for their Goodyear Formula Drift Competition. It's very clear my decision is a wise one to ditch the former plan for latter event as the food exhibition would not be as ecstaticly exciting as Formula Drift Competition. You're guaranteed not to be dissapointed if you attend a Drift Competition.

*I prefer going to gigs where HOT CARS and HOT BABES are the centre of attraction rather than confined to four walls convention that's packed with housewife/hags/spinster who hustle with each other just to taste free food*

Depsite the heavy downpour in the afternoon on Saturday, it fails to dampen our spirit of adamant insistance to catch the inaugural drift championship that will feature our local driver competing up against drivers from other countries. The rain stopped by the time we arrive. Among the international drivers that participate are from Thailand, Japan, Phillipines, China, Singapore, Hong Kong and New Zealand. From the given international lineup , our Malaysian drivers are given the best opportunity to test their mettle up against competiting countries to prove that Malaysia too have International standard driver.

For those who don't already know, a drift competition is in brief a competition that test drivers skill at controlling a car while entering corner at high speed. If you're a driver yourself, you will know that it's impossible to enter a corner without braking otherwise your car will goes slamming into the wall or down the valley if you're on mountain road that is.

Drift competition is about skill of negotiating corners at the highest speed at the faster time without colliding with the wall. The philosophy behind this is, drivers have to speed up towards a corner and then get the car sideways via your handbrake or via perfect gear shifting so that their car is horizontal to the curve of the corner. The show doesn't end there. Subsequent to making your car goes sideways, you still have to maintain the speed so that your car will not come to a halt but continue to slide all the way till the end of corner curve.

Like abovementioned, the fastest car that slide across a cornering curve is the winner but style is pivotal for the increase of the scoreboard. Drift is not as simple as ABC, even you have style but not necessary you'll have the speed but if you have the speed you definitely have the style. The style that gives your additional score is while sliding at high speed, you're able to bring your car either near to the inner or outer barrier of the curve. The closer you get to the wall the higher adrelinaline-pumping will be. And the chilling effect of watching your car ABOUT to collide with the wall when you ended up not colliding, will makes the crowd goes roar.

This is an example of drifting by the wall without actually colliding with it.
Guess what guys, this is actually a lady driver. The only lady participant in the competition and yet she can do the similar insane drift-close-to-the-wall stunt like other male participants can do. So never underestimate the power of women.

Speaking of the crowd, the drift course is filled with sea of car enthusiast who came over just to savour the sweet robust taste of modified engine sounds and the smell of burning rubber. All the car enthusiast presence are in their high spirit cheering and applauding to the great show given by all the talented drifters that competed that day.

The competition take two days to complete. The first day, which is on Saturday, is the pre-liminary qualifying round to arrange the lineup before the final showdown on Sunday whereby then 2 cars are arranged to race together in a single run to battle it out and see which drivers can outlast the other by way of outrun the former or by way of fierce tailgating.

It would be more exciting if you go on the Sunday which is the final showdown as the battle is far more intense because the whole show is about 2 cars drifting together compared to on Saturday where you only get to see a car drifting on its own on the track. I've bought the walkabout ticket for RM18 which entitle me for 2 days entrance. However sadly, I chose not to go back on the Sunday to catch the intense ego battle because I have another plan ahead.

Anyway, less talk and more pictures.Below are among the selected few pictures taken from the Goodyear Formula Drift 2009. Enjoy.

The New Zealand team and their wicked RX-7 became the crowd puller because the team could make out the same F1 sound from their Rx-7. Imagine driving a Rx-7 but it carries F1 sound with it. Scary!

I know you guys have been waiting since from the start for this part to come. How can an automotive show without any hot modelling babes present right? No Tom , DICK and Harry would even bother to come and watch an automotive show if it's not because of KITTY were there. So here are some luscious hot model pictures for my pervert male viewers to drool at.

Back to more cars.

Inexplicable

My office has this mind-boggling display on its wall.

It is the one and only painting that makes everyone goes wondering what sort of message this painting tries to convey.

No one seems to apprehend the significant behind those durians even the big boss herself but however do not underestimate this painting. It's a four figured cost painting. So don't play play.

This come to show that our life is full of mystery. We don't always understand why something occur around us especially why people seems willing to pay exorbitant price just for eccentricness, I presume.

Annual phobia

I feel very uneasy today but I don't know why.

It feels like as if its a special day to me.

In overall, I just feel like wanted to buy a pot of flowers and place it over at verandah and follow it's blossom closely everyday. I've always fond to see the beauty of flowers multiplying itself on the plant as the anticipation to wait for something lovely and beautiful to emerge from it is simply ecstatic.

I just feel very happy. Somehow or other I feel 17th December is a significant date in my walks of life. Something ought to be memorable. Something touching and lovely.

Inspite that, I wish to dedicate today to be a special day to me so that I have one special day to feel special atleast in a year.

But however, it's still the same old proletariat day out of 365 days.
