I lost my appetite

I was found completely smacked in the face and stunned at the same time when a girl appear to suggest that bamboo clam look apparent like a human's d*ck.

This could only mean one thing. Girl, sadly I must say you must be looking at the world softest wiener in all this while otherwise you would not have mistaken bamboo clam to be identical to the manhood.

Annual BBQ Session

This is probably the most humiliating annual bbq session for the habitual attendant . Everyone has their own fair share of being chided around for incompetency by newbies. How embarassing. Thanks for reminding us how lazy we are. *Chuckle*

Our usual year end annual bbq session set for 2009 was delayed to early Jan 2010 as such time better fits with everyone's schedule.

It is the most anticipated event of the year, well as far as I'm concerned, because there will be foods all around for us to barbeque and the ample opportunity to allow our cooking knack to get the better of us. I love to masak-masak, didn't you know?

The food we have for the night are such as the usual lamb chop, chicken wings, sausages and sting ray. Beside that, we also have assorted type of french fries and fruits to fill our tummy up while waiting for the meat to cook. However, despite there's an unorthodox absent of potato and corn from the meal table but fret not as this has been duly subsitituted with the fresh presence of garlic bread, sweet potato and bacon that is completely new for our bbq food list. ( We're still under the vetting process to form the best bbq food list )

Our usual bbq session will be completely dull if without the cock and bullshit talk we need to share with each other. Discussion of the latest body wear - crocodile shirt - and that someone's prospect of becoming a full-time maid for the Yew family is inevitable. Imagine having to clean each and every corner of that bungalow is simply mind-numbing.

I even have problem cleaning my own house , don't say about your bungalow la....

What's a reunion session if getting wasted is not the primary objective ?

We played the ruthless game called Piramid. The rule of this game is simple. If you lose all you need to do is just drink. No hard and complex rule. So closed cards will be placed on the floor to form a piramid structure and later these cards will be opened one by one starting from the lower tier and up till the highest tier. Each player will be given 2 piece of cards in order to obtain a compatibility with the cards on the Piramid structure. If there's a compatibility , there's when the punishment starts. If the compatible cards opened falls within the odd tier of the Piramid, it's condition that the person whose turn has opened that card has to drink. However, if the compatible cards opened falls within the even tier of the Piramid, ,the person whose turn has opened that card will get to force others to drink. (This is the best part of the game) The higher the tier is, the more severe the drinking punishment will be. The punishment may goes up to 6 gulp of liquor so imagine how stressful this game is. More stress than working.

In this game, you are required to pair up with a friend whom your friend will then be your best way out of not getting drunk too fast as you get to share the punishment together. But take an advise from a well-experienced victim like me for it's not the drinking that's killing you, but it's the wrong choice of partner that kills you.

This lesson will serve me for the rest of my life. (Sibeh Oja I let you kik sei ngo). Never accept a partner who talks too much. Well, if he can avert the peril of drinking away from you then he's mostly welcomed but you wouldn't want blood gush up to your brain for the consequence you did'nt asked for . Overall, it's an enjoyable game. We all have our ball of time and much appreciate for the happy memory you guys left me with.

Ah Wang's girl-girl.

Guess what lives inside this cage. You might on your first thought think its a bird as prima facie its a bird cage to begin with otherwise the second bet would be either a hamster or a rabbit . But guess what, none of the above guess is correct.

This cage actually belongs to a

Deliciously 1Malaysia

Hi guys, have you heard about the Deliciously 1Malaysia food exhibition that's going to be held at PWTC on 18-20 December 2009? If you don't quickly head over to their website and get yourself educated there.

Excitement has already started building up and the anxiety is simply unbearable for me to wait the day to come. It's simply irresistable. FOOD!!!! Faster faster come.

On that day itself, there will be a massive load of Malaysian food on showcase and the best part is, there's sampling available. Glutton like me await this moment to come for like FOREVER. For your info, the exhibition will showcase some of the top Malaysian food ranging from very typical street food like char kao teow and ice kacang to higher end dining food like Gordon Ramsy's.

Beside that, cooking workshop and competition will held there as well for the benefit of unskillful cooking patrons. All si lai-si lai(s) are envisaged to present on the date and I'm will not absent either. This is really a good chance for me to learn to cook from renowed chef so I would not have problem in the future to win girls heart with my aromatic dishes. (Nowadays girls doesn't like flowers anymore, they prefer chicken wing and satay) I wonder will Agnes Chang be there? I'm actually her avid fan.

Come join me,don't let this opportunity go down the drain and together we go and taste all the mouthalicious food exhibit and for once we can enjoy the life of an emperor, to eat all the nice food in front of us without paying! (Chinese has a saying, sik pa wong chan)

Okay la...maybe not all food there are free. Some of it you probably need to pay otherwise the restaurant owner will go bust if there's only expenditure going out to fatten beggar like us and no money coming in. Probably they will induce you to buy some of their easy-cook product like those add a bowl of hot water in a mee cup and you will get the same mee taste as if you cooked them in conventional method after 5 minutes. So do embrace for hard sell promoter in the exhibition later. Anyway, promoter will hardly be in my way whenever there's free food in the picture. Anggap diorang merepek aje.

Things about to expect there:
*Over 100 booths of F&B product and restaurant showcase
*Over 100 exciting F&B related activities and programs
*Over 50 mouth-watering hawkers’ delights – showcasing the best of malaysian street food
*Over 30 international & local chef demonstrations and food acrobats
*Cooking contests and lots of prizes to be won!

So whoever wants to go with me please pm me. The more the merrier. I will come back for with many many picture of foods!

Hakka Mee in Pudu

It's my most frequent place on earth.

I will come to this hakka mee stall in Jalan Pudu Wai Sik Kai every weekend just to savour the best hakka mee. For the past 1 1/2 decade, this is my weekend spot. I would die if I can't eat here once in a week. I remember I used to throw a wobbler when my dad's not free to bring me here when I was smaller. I grumbled and refuse to chow down any food for the whole day. That's practically how committed I was to this special Hakka mee in Jalan Pudu.

They serve the best Hakka Mee. I've been to other hakka mee stall so that I would not be bias in my tastebud but no other place can serve as delicious as this place. I don't mean to be mean but to be honest, other hakka mee out there taste like crap compared to the one here in Wai Sik Kai.

Two words can only best describe this Hakka Mee. It's Beyond Comparable.

They will serve your Hakka Mee in traditional chinese bowl with all those caligraphy design around it which always reminds me of our dearly chinese culture.

What is so special about this Hakka Mee from Wai Sik Kai is that the mee itself is a homemade recipe. You can even eat the mee on its on without mixing with any gravy yet it's still tasty. The slices of char siew included in your mee is exactly the right size. Not too big and not too small.

Inside the bowl: Hakka Mee (with or without black sauce),nicely thinned char siew, fresh choy sam and homemade minced pork.

One of the most important point to take note when you eat this Hakka Mee is that, to eat them while it's hot. That's where the inexplicable unique taste lies. Beside the mee alone, their complimentary wantan soup is worth a mention because the soup is unlike your typically wantan soup which they will somehow make you go thirsty after certain take but not from this hakka mee stall. Their soup are made from fine grained ikan bilis ingredient that carries zero additive which makes the taste so clear that you want to take another sip again after the other.

Their soup is so delicious not because it carries any special flavouring but its so delicious because it carry the natural low oil based taste that flows smoothly down your throat. I'm not joking. That's practically what I feel everytime I eat here.

Oh yeah, you should try their lou shu fun too. Yet another delicious homemade product that worth trying before you die.

A perfect street food!

Location : Right in front of Pudu Pusat Tuisyen Martin.
Opens at 6am-2pm

SS15 Burger Shop

The other day I went to Subang Jaya to try out the much talked about SS15 Burger Shop near Asia Cafe. To my surprise, their burger goes beyond what I expect. It's taste deserve my two thumbs up recommendation.

The burger they sell is superb nice. Really value for money. I've never tried such a delicious burger for decade already. Cheap burger I mean ( pointless comparing their burger with TGI's or Nandos because both came from different market section )

Their burger is absolutely filling. You eat one burger there is equivalent to you eating one McD medium set . I ordered their most expensive burger Double Cheese Chicken Special and it completely overpowered my choosy taste bud. I like their burger very much because they put alot of ingredient in it so there's more to bite and their burger ain't your typical Ramly burger's quality. Besides that I also ordered their nugget due to high recommendation from my friend. And indeed again, their nugget really caught me by surprise. Their nugget is not covered with ordinary flour for nugget but was covered with rice flour that make its outer crust layer crispy exactly like the Fish n Chip.

Their burger definitely value for money. I've pledge myself to frequent their shop atleast once a month. Alot of rich bimbo with weak sense of taste will find their burger rather normal or bland but not to me because I don't compare their burger with high class burger. I based my judgment according to their own respective field. Street burger against street burger. I will never compare a street burger with restaurant burger. That's bias if I do so.

For a street food, I would generously give them 4.5 out of 5 star for the food's specialty.
